At twenty he graduates in "Lighting Design" at “Accademia Teatro alla Scala” and he immediately starts to work as Assistant, Associate and lighting programmer of some Italian Theatre productions and he starts the lighting career ranging between Opera, Musical, Ballet and Play.

In the role as Associated and Assistant Lighting Designer (relevant engagements): “Orphee et Eurydice” (Opera de Toulon), “Falstaff”, “Die Fledermaus”, “Fidelio”, “Ariadne auf Naxos” (Florence - Maggio Musicale Fiorentino), for the musical “Phantom of the Opera” (Italy, Spain e Monte Carlo), ”Dirty Dancing” (West End, UK Tour, German e Italy) “Mary Poppins” (Milan – Rome), “Ghost” (Spain - Italy e Mexico), “West Side Story” (Milan, Genoa Carlo Felice, Florence Maggio Musicale Fiorentino), in theater play for “Much Ado About Nothing”, “Il Mago di Oz” (Teatro Stabile Turin).

He is the Lighting Designer of Opera (relevant engagements) “Don Pasquale”, “La Boheme” (Maggio Musicale Fiorentino – 2023/2024), “Die Zuberflöte” (Aslico – Teatri Opera Lombardia, Teatro Verdi - Trieste and Fondazione Arena di Verona), “Idomeneo” (Opera National de Lorraine – Nancy), Chiara e Serafina (Festival Donizetti 2022, Bergamo), Capuleti e i Montecchi (Rai5, Catania) ,“Le nozze di Figaro” (Maggio Musicale Fiorentino - 2022) “L’impresario in angustie”, ”, opening opera at 43^ Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte di Montepulciano. Designer for the musical “Aggiungi un Posto a Tavola” (50th Anniversary and tour 2024), “Rapunzel” (Viola Produzioni 2023) “Everybody Talks about Jamie” (Rome and Italian Tour), “A Familia Addams” (Brazil - Co-designer), “Tell me on a Sunday” (Compagnia della Rancia - 2021), ”Alice in wonderland” (Tour 2019/2020), ”Love Story” (Tour 2017/2018), Since 2016 is Lighting Designer for the Bernstein School of Musical Theater productions. Lighting Designer for immersive installations inside Renoir/Cezanne Exhibition in Palazzo Reale Milan, in 2024. For 10 years he works for the dance gala "Roberto Bolle and Friends” and “OnDance” festival created by Roberto Bolle, in 2024 works for the TV Program “Viva la Danza” created by Roberto Bolle and product by Rai (Radiotelevisione Italiana) and Ballandi production

He creates the design for “D’Incanto” Teatro Donizetti - Bergamo inaugural ceremony and architectural lights for “Patti Smith Quartet” during Stresa Festival at Tecnoparco - Verbania. Emanuele works also for some fashion shows for the best fashion brands: Valentino, Ermenegildo Zegna, Krizia, Il Gufo, Pal Zileri, Spyder.

Since 2015 he teaches Lighting Design and CAD software at “Accademia Teatro alla Scala”.
